  • AIDS Project Of The East Bay
    AIDS Project of the East Bay is a community based organization, dedicated to preventing the spread of HIV and supporting individuals infected with the virus through programs targeted at some of the most vulnerable and marginalized individuals in Alameda County. APEB ensures that individuals and communities beyond the reach of other agencies receive professional services of the highest standard.

  • Bay Area Women Against Rape
    BAWAR offers crisis counselling 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We also offer free, in-person counselling. For an appointment please call the office.

  • Charlotte Maxwell Complimentary Clinic
    The Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic is a community of dedicated women volunteers who have diverse skills and experiences. We are healthcare practitioners and healthcare advocates; we are community organizers; we are lesbians and straight women. We are unified in our goal of offering complementary alternative medicine treatments to women with cancer who are underserved and share the following beliefs and goals.

  • Children's Hospital Oakland
    Children's Hospital & Research Center Foundation, a not-for-profit public benefit corporation, has worked hard to support the efforts and mission of Children’s Hospital by acquiring charitable gifts and other resources exclusively for Children's Hospital programs, services and operations.

  • Family Emergency Shleter Coalition (FESCO)
    FESCO's mission is to instill or restore dignity, self-esteem, and self-reliance so that families, their individual members, and the community are strengthened.

  • Lavender Seniors
    Provides social activities, support, and networking for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender seniors in the East Bay. The Mission of Lavender Seniors of the East Bay is to improve the quality of life of older Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender residents of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties through outreach, advocacy, and education.

  • Lighthouse Community Center
    The Lighthouse Community Center serves the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning community of Southern Alameda County.Our goal is to provide a safe and substance-free meeting place with social, informational and community awareness programs for the entire LGBTQ community and our allies regardless of age, race, or religion.The Center began operations in July 2000 and now provides low-cost, community friendly meeting space, a free lending library, community bulletin board, and sponsors support programs.The Center sponsors a number of men, women, youth, and senior programs and hosts Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings.The Lighthouse serves as a meeting place for Alameda County Leather Corps, East Bay Network, Imperial Star Empire, Grand Ducal Council, and others.The Center also organizes lectures, community art shows, health fairs, legal workshops, and other special events.Come listen to music, check out the library, surf the web, have a cup of coffee, meet a friend, or just hang out.

  • Men Together Project
    The Men Together Program has been serving the LGBTQ community for over 15 years. We have kept our original name "Men Together Program," for our HIV prevention program for men. However, over the years we have recognized the needs for services that encompass the LGBTQ community as a whole. As a result we now offer several programs and services for the LGBTQ community at our drop-in community Center, "The EDGE," in Fremont.

    Since 1985, Project Open Hand has been providing “meals with love” to people living with serious illnesses and to seniors in San Francisco and Alameda County and has served as a model for over 100 organizations all over the world.
